By day, Solene Remiot is a marketer in the beauty industry—a career that has taken

her from the offices of Paris to the energy of New York. Off-duty, however, her heart has

always belonged to the theater. Her stage journey began in France as Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (dir. Jules Jorda), an experience that turned a lifelong appetite for watching plays into a passion for performing them.

Since moving to NYC, Solene has balanced her marketing decks with rehearsals at L’Atelier Théâtre, first performing in Montres (dir. Remy Felicite) and join more recently Faustine Kooijmann ‘s project “Wait, What’s the Play Again?”; Playing Paola—a naive, hard-working assistant director dreaming of the spotlight—felt like a nod to her own appreciation for the 'behind-the-scenes' grind.
